Li Yongdong, male, born in Wanquan District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province in October 1962, ancestral home in the southern suburbs of Beijing, foreign academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, foreign academician of Russian Academy of Engineering, professor of electrical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, doctoral supervisor, vice president of Tsinghua University New Concept Technology Automotive Research Institute.
Li Yongdong's main research interests include high-capacity power electronic converters and their applications in speed regulation and energy saving, full digital control of AC motors and their applications in CNC machine tools, high-speed railway electric traction and ship electric propulsion, and new energy power generation.
