Aurelia Pătrașcu
Aurelia Pătrașcu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cybernetics, Economic Informatics, Finance and Accounting, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti.
Since 2021, she is the President of the Senate from the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești.
She was the Dean of the Economic Sciences Faculty from 2016 to 2020 and Department Manager between 2013 and 2016.
She has graduated the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Petroleum –Gas University of Ploiești. She has received her PhD in in the Economic Informatics domain from Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest in 2011.
She teaches and coordinates the following disciplines: Introduction to Computer Science, Database Management Systems, Databases, Web Technologies.
Member of the following associations: AFER; AGER
Interest Fields: document management systems, database management systems, web programming and decision support systems.
She is author and co-author of 6 books and 50 articles in the interest fields.
